City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Coach to lead our Under 14 Girls team for the 2024/25 season.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and develop the Under 14 Girls team through dynamic and engaging practices.
– Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team environment.
– Plan and execute training sessions and match days.
– Manage and support assistant coaches and team volunteers.
– Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club management.
– Promote the values and mission of the City of Birmingham Rockets.
Requirements:
– Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies.
– Previous coaching experience preferred, particularly with youth teams.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills.
– Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
– Commitment to attend all practices, games, and team events.
– DBS check will be required.
