Congratulations to the seven Rockets juniors on signing their Letters of Intent ahead of joining our BMet Rockets Academy this September!
Billy Rose, Daniel Pittaway, Ryan Luther, Jonathan Agbeze, Gurdiat Singh, Jesse Ogbeide & Ibrahim Samba Ceesay all signalled their intent to join us at the only elite basketball academy in the West Midlands.
Rockets Technical Director, Paul Douglas, said: “This is a momentous occasion for the club and its National League Performance Programme with the seven of our Under 16 Premier squad signing their first Letters of Intent for the club to attend BMET College for the next academic year.
“As we move forward to develop our programme in all aspects, these young men will no doubt go on to be the face of our Elite Academy at BMET College on the men’s side for the next 2-3 years and look to follow in the footsteps of Larry Duru and Nektarios Papadopoulos into our men’s first team squad.
“Our ability to now provide EABL and WEABL opportunities is huge for us. We are excited to see exceptional local talent in the region perform at the highest level on a regular basis.”
Congratulations, guys – we are looking forward to seeing you all continue your development with us next year and beyond!
