Birmingham Rockets coaches Mike Price & Reiss Faure-Daley joined our partner school Shireland Collegiate Academy at the West Midlands Jr NBA Finals at University of Worcester yesterday afternoon.
It proved a hugely successful day with Shireland winning the Year 8 competition and reaching the finals of the Year 7 competition.

It was a fitting conclusion to Shireland’s West Midlands Jr NBA campaign with players leaving everything on the court in an action-packed afternoon of play at University Arena.
In the months since, students have worked closely with Rockets coaches & NBL Division One players Michael Price & Reiss Faure-Daley to take their games to the next level.
Yesterday’s event was a fantastic showcase of the hard work that the students have undertaken in the past few months, and we are delighted for everyone associated with Shireland Collegiate Academy for their students’ achievements.
We would like to thank Shireland Collegiate Academy for trusting us to deliver quality basketball to their students and extend a special thank you to PE teacher Mr Brogan for his continued support!
There were further honours to add to the collection before the day was done as Coach Mike Price won the coach’s shooting challenge to round off a great day in Worcester.
