City of Birmingham Rockets are delighted to confirm that both our men’s and women’s first teams will be competing in the National Basketball League (NBL)/Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) Division One for the 2023/24 season.
The 2023/24 season will be the first time Birmingham has both men’s & women’s teams competing in their respective top flights since the 1999/00 season.
Our promotions from Division Two have been ratified by Basketball England with their confirmation of our the league structures for the upcoming season.
Our Men’s First Team stormed to the Division Two title last season, before going on to clinch the title playoff title, and will now compete against the following teams in Division One next season:

Our Women’s First Team finished as the second seed in Division Two behind eventual champions Sheffield Hatters II and will now take their place in Division One. The league consists of the following teams for 2023/24:
