City of Birmingham Rockets are delighted to see Larry Duru recognised for his outstanding year with the Under-17 EABL (Elite Academy Basketball League) North Player of the Year award.
Larry, in his first year at our BMet Rockets Academy, impressed the decision makers at Basketball England to edge out the competition and claim the prestigious award.
He was presented with the award at the Academy Finals Day in Manchester last week.

Larry’s award is testament to his hard work and commitment to improving and to the hard work of our coaching staff who have once again demonstrated their ability to nurture up and coming talent to ensure players are able to maximise their potential during their time with us.
