There were seven games this weekend for our juniors, with good results and performances across the board including good victories for our Under-12s and both of our Under-18 teams.
Our Under-12s recorded a resounding win over Team Birmingham Elite, beating them 80-59 at Nechells Wellbeing Centre to complete a league double over them this season.
It was victory at home as well for our Under-18 boys team, who beat West Brom by 22 points on Saturday to record their second win in a row and avenge their eight point defeat to the same team back in November.
Our Under-18 Girls side also won, beating Durham Palatinates 68-25 to maintain their 100% league record.
Our Under-14 Conference team were also able to record a victory, beating Stourport Spartans 59-43 on Saturday in their first win since October before succumbing to a 16-point defeat to Nottingham Junior Hoods on Sunday.
Unfortunately, there were two defeats at the hands of Manchester Magic for our Under-14 and Under-16 Premier teams, despite spirited performances that will provide optimism going forward.
Next weekend, our Under-18 Girls look to defend their perfect record away at Northamptonshire Titans, while our Under-16 boys Premier Team play in a local derby against Team Birmingham Elite.
