It is set to be a busy weekend for our Rockets first teams, with our men taking on Bristol Hurricanes in a crucial game between two of the early pacesetters whilst our women’s side face away trips to Derby in the league and Manchester in the cup.
Rockets Men vs Bristol Hurricanes
Rockets’ Men’s First Team make the journey south to Bristol tomorrow afternoon as we prepare for a huge game against Bristol Hurricanes.
Rockets go into the game as the division’s only remaining unbeaten side and will be looking to move to a 7-0 record with victory.
Hurricanes have lost just once this season, although they have played a game less, with their only league defeat coming on the opening day of the season courtesy of a narrow loss against St Helens Saints.
Rockets Women vs Derby Trailblazers
Our Women’s First Team return to Derby Trailblazers for the second time this season tomorrow afternoon as they look to move to 4-0 and continue their impressive unbeaten streak.
Derby currently sit at 1-2 in the league, with one of their losses coming against Rockets back in October.
It will be the third time Rockets have faced Derby this season with a home win on matchday two followed by an away success in the cup which saw us progress to the last-16 – setting up the following day’s game at Manchester.
Rockets Women vs Manchester Mystics
Last month’s win at Derby presented us with an away trip to Manchester with the winner moving on to face Anglia Ruskin or Brent Bulls in the quarter finals on 4th December.
Manchester are also unbeaten so far this season, with their cup run also supplemented by an unbeaten league record as they go into the weekend with a 2-0 record.
