Join us on Tuesday 18th February 2025 for our BMet Rockets Academy Trials!
The BMet Rockets Academy is the only elite basketball academy in the West Midlands – as recognised by Basketball England. The academy is also one of just twelve DiSE (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) providers for basketball in the country and the only provider in the West Midlands. This qualification also provides additional UCAS points.
Our academy teams compete in the Elite Academy Basketball League (EABL) and Association of Colleges (AOC) competitions.
We are inviting students in school years 11, 12 & 13 to join us at BMet College (Sutton Coldfield Campus, B74 2NW) to learn more about our academy offering ahead of September 2025 enrolment.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the coaches, learn more about our academy offering and showcase their talent.
Further, players will also have an opportunity to learn about the college’s wide-ranging academic offering with a joint educational course information session between 1pm-2pm.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
10am – 1pm: Girls session
1pm – 2pm: Educational course information
2pm – 5pm: Boys session
Please dress appropriately as there will be a practical, on-court training session. Changing rooms will be available.
