Our Women’s First Team return to Nechells Wellbeing Centre tomorrow afternoon to face second place Manchester Mystics, tip-off 17:00.
After recording their first win in the middle of January, our women’s side came close to repeating the feat against Tees Valley Mohawks before pushing table-topping Stockport Lapwings all the way at the start of February.
The Opposition
Manchester have enjoyed a strong season so far, but have lost their last two games against Stockport and Sheffield.
Stockport look to have built an unassailable lead at the top of the standings, but Manchester must now look over their shoulders at the challenging pack as they look to cement their position in the table.
Both Derby Trailblazers and University of Nottingham sit one win off our visitors making tomorrow’s game an important one for Mystics.
Around The League
There are just two games set for tomorrow, with Nottingham University looking to draw level on wins with our opponents as they travel to Sheffield Hatters.
Sunday sees Derby Trailblazers make the short journey to Derbyshire Diamonds with the Derbyshire derby set to round off the weekend’s action.
