Rockets have six teams taking to the court this weekend, with a number of teams hitting the road as we prepare for a weekend packed with away fixtures!
Our Rockets first teams are both away from home, with our women making the short trip to Bromsgrove to take on the Bears tomorrow evening in a 5pm tip at Colmers School, B45 9NY.
Coach Allen’s team will be looking to avenge their cup defeat to Bears and move to 3-0 with a win, but Bromsgrove will be looking to kickstart their league campaign after a 1-1 start in WNBL Division Two.
Rockets men will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season away at Thames Valley Cavaliers, with Coach Smith and the team the visitors to Uxbridge College (UB8 1NQ) in a 6:30pm tip.
Rockets and Hemel Storm are the only two unbeaten sides remaining in the division – let’s keep it going this weekend!

Under 14 Boys
Our Under 14 Boys Premier side are first up with the team looking to build on back-to-back wins away at St Helens Saints in an 11:15am tip.
The group have demonstrated remarkable resilience to bounce back from a tough start to hold a 2-2 record going into the weekend.
Last weekend’s 88-54 win away at City of Leeds Gold was testament to the hard work being put in on and off the court.
St Helens are yet to record a win and hold the worst defensive record in the Northern Premier Division, something Coach Gaskell’s side will be looking to exploit tomorrow morning!
Under 14 Girls
Our Under 16 Girls face a tough test against the Sheffield Hatters tomorrow at Nechells in a 2:20pm tip.
Coach Amina’s team will be looking to continue their fantastic start to the season with both Rockets and Hatters the only undefeated teams remaining in the division!
Be sure to come along and support the team from 2:20pm!
Under 16 Boys
Our Under 16 Boys are also at home with the team set to face off against the Mersey Mavericks at Nechells in a 12:20pm tip.
The visitors have enjoyed a strong start to the season, winning three of their opening four games coming into this one.
Coach Tavares’ team will be looking to get back to winning ways after a couple of tough outings against Milton Keynes and Manchester Giants in the last couple of games.
Be sure to make some noise and get behind the team tomorrow afternoon as we look to make home court advantage count!
Under 18 Men
Coach D’Alva’s Under 18 side are on the road and heading for the capital on Sunday as they prepare to take on the Bracknell Cobras in a 5pm tip.
Bracknell are currently rooted to the bottom of the table having lost all of their opening four games.
Rockets have struggled for form since an opening day win against True Vision Elite Surrey and will see this weekend as the perfect opportunity to bounce back!
