Birmingham Rockets are delighted to confirm the return of sharpshooter Karl Teesdale ahead of the 2024/25 National Basketball League (NBL) Division One season.
Karl is set to enter his third season at a Rocket after joining the club in the summer of 2022.
The story so far…
Karl began his basketball career in Southampton, graduating from the prestigious youth programme at Team Solent Kestrels before breaking into their first team.
After moving to Birmingham in 2021, Karl joined the Rockets in 2022 and established his reputation as one of the finest shooters in the country.
An integral piece in our 2022/23 promotion-winning roster, he made the step up to NBL Division One last year and will be looking to build on last season under the tutelage of Coach Smith.
His most impressive display last year was undoubtedly his 18-point performance, while shooting 60% from three point teritory, in the 103-86 home win against Thames Valley Cavaliers last October.

With Coach Smith putting together an exciting roster ahead of the new season, Karl is looking forward to getting the season started.
Speaking ahead of his unveiling, he said, “I’m excited to be back with the club and looking forward to running it back with the squad this year and showing what we are capable of doing!“
